Responsible of prospecting new clients, building department by marketing and increasing sales. Hiring employees and staffing accordingly. Maria fills orders to fruition, from sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and placing. From her past experience working with Staffing Agencies, she is well aware of what an Employer will require and makes sure that each of her clients and candidates are “top priority”.
Prior she was the opening Catering and Sales Manager at the Holiday Inn Sarasota Airport. Maria is a highly involved with the opening of the hotel to include all hiring, departmental organization, training and successfully opening the hotel. Prior to working at the Holiday Inn Sarasota Airport, Maria was the catering Manager at the Holiday Inn Lakewood Ranch, and Owner of Palm Café in Sarasota 2006. She has been in the Hospitality Industry for over 20 years. She has been a Florida resident for 17 years. Moved from West Orange, New Jersey. She worked at The Manor as a Banquet Manager, where her career begun.
