For an idea of how your boss might rate your performance, ask yourself the following questions:
- Do you collapse under pressure or remain calm?
- Are you a clock watcher or do you put in the necessary amount of time to do a job well?
- How much interest do you show in learning and taking on new responsibilities?
- What do you do to make your boss shine?
- How do you make your boss’s life easier?
- Do you gossip and point fingers or make peace and pitch in to help your co-workers?
- Do you dress as professionally as you could?
- Have you had opportunities for professional development that you haven’t taken?
- Do you make excuses for incomplete or flawed work or you accountable?
- Do you admit when you’ve made a mistake that others need to be informed of or do you seek to avoid being found out?
